Springfield Operator 9mm
Just received my Springfield Armory Operator 1911 in 9mm. The overall fit and finish is very good, with the slide to frame fit being excellent. I have not shot it yet but so far the Springfield Operator is 4 stars out of 5. If it shoots as well as it looks and feels I will definitely give the Operator 5 stars.

My favorite 1911
I first saw the Springfield Armory 1911 Operator at one of my local gun shops but I decided to go with another 1911 because it was a bit cheaper. The Operator stayed on my radar though because I loved the way it looked. The black cerakote finish with the green G10 grips looked great. I kept going back to my local shop to see if the price dropped but it didn’t. With one google search I found one at Online Outfitters for $130 less than other stores so I ordered it. It has been everything I thought it would. It not only looks good but shoots great and feels great in my hand.
